Sister, I See You

Sister, I see you.

I see all that you are doing.
I see all those you are caring for.
I see all you are juggling.
I see all you manage.
I see the ways you show up.
I see the moments you make special.
I see it all.

Whether you’re a mother, daughter, wife, sister, or a good friend… I see how much you give, often with little given back.

Yes, we get the occasional thank-you—but most days it still leaves us feeling unseen. Unappreciated. Worn down.

So much of what we do happens behind the scenes. The rides, the meals, the planning, the laundry, the remembering, the “just one more thing” before bed. We are the keepers of birthdays, the packers of lunches, the ones who check in, the cheerleaders and the healers. The miracle workers who can always find the missing shoe. And we do it with love—because that’s who we are.

It’s what makes women the quiet heartbeat of the world.

But even heartbeats grow weary. The pulse that keeps everything alive can sometimes feel faint and unnoticed.

Some seasons, exhaustion whispers louder than gratitude ever does. Love doesn’t make the load lighter—it only makes it worth carrying. And sometimes the weight feels too heavy, and we long for someone to notice. To say the words we rarely hear.

So let me say it clearly: You matter.

What you do matters.
Who you are matters.

I see you. I’m cheering for you. You are not alone in the overwhelm. You are not alone in the exhaustion, or in the calling to show up day after day with strength and grace.

Even when you don’t want to. Even when you are bone-tired, spread too thin, and secretly debating if cereal counts for dinner.

We don’t do it for recognition. We don’t do it for applause. We do it because we choose love—again and again… though applause and a standing ovation wouldn’t hurt. And because without us, no one would find the scissors, the tape, or the ketchup sitting right in front of them in the fridge.

We may laugh about it, but the truth is—the world leans on us in ways both big and small. The heartbeat of women is the rhythm our world depends on.

Keep shining, Sister. The world beats stronger because of you. You are doing more than you know, better than you know, and it matters more than you think.

I see how you feel. I am sorry that you do not feel valued. I have been remiss in letting you know how much I appreciate you as a daughter, and I do see that you are busy with your being a mother, football supporter, wife and good friend. Forgive me please. I need you in my life and hope that you need me in yours. Love always
